Chad joined the WealthCare Team in 2003, and then purchased the firm in 2007. He came to WealthCare with 20 years of experience as a corporate controller for a large central Minnesota manufacturing company. Chad did everything from Human Resources to Dispatch and Delivery to Accounting. While there, he developed many of the inventory control programs and cost accounting programs used by the company.
Chad has lived in Cold Spring since 1993. He and his family have been life long residents of Stearns County. Chad, like his wife, grew up on a dairy farm in western Stearns County. It is that up-bringing that gives Chad his strong sense of ethics and also his work habits.
Chad is very involved with the local community. He is currently involved with the Cold Spring Maennerchor. For 12 years he had been serving as Trustee for the St. Boniface Parish in Cold Spring. He also served as Trustee for Assumption Home in Cold Spring and on Assumption Home's campus building committee for 9 years. Chad served on the Board of Directors for the Central Minnesota Credit Union for 10 years. He served with the local Cub Scouts and with the Great Northern Theatre Company.
Chad is also currently in his Deaconate Formation with the St. Cloud Diocese.
What Chad likes most about life is his family. His children and his grandchildren are the apple of his eye. Chad's motto is "Faith, Family, Friends,......and work. In that order!"
Chad is licensed as an insurance agent in Minnesota and is an IRS Enrolled Agent.
